The day began at Ä¢¹½tv’s Windstorm Impact, Science and Engineering (WISE) Research Lab, where Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering associate professor Aly-Mousaad Aly demonstrated wind engineering experiments, and Goodloe suited up and experienced the windstorm impact.
From there, the team moved to Ä¢¹½tv’s Center for River Studies to film interviews with geology professor Samuel Bentley, geography & anthropology assistant professor Jill Trepanier, and oceanography & coastal sciences assistant professor Paul Miller, diving into topics ranging from coastal restoration to hurricane climatology and coastal meteorology.
