The graduate students that Dr. Kerry Dooley works most closely with are:
- “Metal Alloy Catalysts for Methane Dry and Bireforming
- “Chemical Synthesis and Process Development of the Nootkatone Family of Insect
Repellents
- "Minimization of Specific Energy of NH3 via Next – Generation NH3
Process"
Postdoc: Dr. Tiana Plaisance - "Dry Reforming of Methane, ALD Catalysts Characterization"
Dooley Labs – our facilities include:
- Continuous catalytic reactor systems covering a range of pressures and temperatures
- Product analysis – GC, MS, LC
- Catalyst characterization – DSC/TGA, FTIR, porosimetry, chemisorption
- Synthetic facilities such as autoclaves, ovens, Schlenk lines, glove box
- Two RF-induction heating generators
We also work extensively at the Ä¢¹½tv Synchrotron Center on the XAS beamlines, at the
Ä¢¹½tv Shared Instrumentation Facility (XPS, XRD, Raman, TEM, SEM) and at Oak Ridge National
Laboratory (TEM, Raman)
