To apply for federal financial aid, complete the 2027-2028 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You鈥檒l need to enter 蘑菇tv鈥檚 school code (002010) on the FAFSA.

In order for 蘑菇tv to fully evaluate your comprehensive financial aid and scholarship package, you should submit the FAFSA as soon after October 1 as possible.

The 2027-2028 FAFSA will be available on Oct. 1.

Once you have made 蘑菇tv your choice, accept your offer of admission, and submit your non-refundable required enrollment deposit in your to save your spot in next year's historic incoming class.

The enrollment deposit must be submitted before you can complete any checklist item below.

Next Step: Identity Verification

All incoming students for any 2027 entry term are now required to verify their identity to be able to apply for housing, register for courses, and receive financial aid disbursement.

After submitting the enrollment deposit, you will have a link in your Admissions portal to the identity verification page powered by Stripe. You will also be notified via email.

Follow instructions to submit photos of your identification documents (driver's license, passport, etc.), government ID # or SSN, and a selfie.

Stripe will confirm your information and send your verification status back to 蘑菇tv. The Admissions Portal checklist item will have a green check once your identity is successfully verified.

Your My蘑菇tv credentials WILL NOT be created (starting in late October), and you will not have access to the housing portal when it opens in December, until your identity is verified.

My蘑菇tv is a personalized online resource center for all deposited 蘑菇tv students. For incoming students, you will use your my蘑菇tv credentials to complete enrollment requirements, including housing, immunizations, and more.

My蘑菇tv credentials will be sent to you via your Admissions Portal. However, because there is currently no action for you to complete in My蘑菇tv at this time, incoming student accounts have not been created yet. You will be notified via account is ready for you to activate. No further action is needed from you at this time.

Beginning the first week of December, deposited students will gain access to the Housing Portal within 48 business hours after activating their My蘑菇tv account. 

You do not indicate a roommate or select your specific residence hall on the housing agreement. However, the housing agreement determines your priority for Room Selection, which occurs in May or June.

You must submit either the Housing Agreement OR the Housing Exemption to enroll at 蘑菇tv.

Bengal Bound Orientation is required for all incoming students in order to receive a course schedule for the Fall semester.

Registration opens in the spring and will be available in your 蘑菇tv Admissions Portal.

**To ensure your course schedule can be created accurately, you must submit all verified test scores, including ACT, SAT, AP, CLEP, and IB after registering for Bengal Bound. (See Next Step)

If you completed any Dual Enrollment courses, you must also provide official or unofficial transcripts from the college/university that administered the credit.

Submit verified score reports for all standardized tests. This includes ACT, AP, CLEP, IB, and SAT. These can be sent by your high school counselor, ACT, or College Board.

You may also send score reports via email to admissions@lsu.edu. These can be screenshots of your score report from your ACT or College Board portal. Ensure your name, test date, and scores are all visible. We recommend using a screenshot from a desktop, laptop, or tablet.

Submit final official transcripts from all schools attended. This includes your final high school transcript, dual enrollment transcripts, military transcripts and vocational or technical school transcripts.

Final High School Transcripts must have a high school graduation date on the transcript.

Dual Enrollment transcripts must be sent to 蘑菇tv by the college/university that administered the credit. Students should visit that school's Registrar's Office web page to request the transcript be sent to 蘑菇tv UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS.

Credit will not be awarded from transcripts sent by the individual student.

Louisiana law requires immunization against measles, mumps, rubella, and tetanus-diphtheria. 蘑菇tv also requires a completed tuberculosis questionnaire for all first-time 蘑菇tv students. If you do not wish to complete the immunization requirement for any reason, you may complete the Immunization Exemption Form.

Louisiana Residents: 蘑菇tv automatically receives immunization information for in-state students. In addition to having up-to-date immunization records, you must also submit the TB questionnaire to complete the requirements. You may complete this form, as well as check your immunization compliance status via the .

Non-Louisiana Residents: You must submit the Proof of Immunization Compliance form, which must be completed by a physician or healthcare provider. No separate documents or attachments are accepted. You may upload the completed form via the . You must also submit the TB questionnaire in your Patient Portal.

Once your schedule is created through Orientation, fee bills are generated about one month before the semester you plan to enroll begins. You will pay your fee bill and complete registration through your Workday account. You will be notified when your fee bill is available.

蘑菇tv requires all first-time students under the age of 22 to complete the online Vector Solutions Primary Prevention Suite education, including two modules, prior to the first day of classes. 

You will receive an email with details to complete the courses after you attend a Bengal Bound Orientation session. You will be pre-registered to complete the courses and can use your my蘑菇tv ID and password to log in.

The program contains two modules: AlcoholEdu for College and Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates. You must complete both modules and pass the post-test with a score of 83% or higher to meet the requirement.
