Links
General linking guidelines:
- Link text should make sense when read by itself; using generic labels like "click here" and "more" without the use of a supplemental description is discouraged. (See )
- Redundant links, such as linking both the image and text, should not be used.
- Link Target
- When linking to other pages within lsu.edu, do not force links to open a new browser window or tab.
- In some cases, it may be appropriate to open a link to an external site in a new browser window/tab.

- Paste as text-only
- Manually insert the link, using one of these methods:
- If the full URL is exposed in the email, you may copy the full URL and use Omni's "Insert/Edit" link function to create the hotspot.
- If the URL is not exposed, click the link and open it in a browser and copy the URL from the browser's location bar.
